No matter where you’re located in the world, you can have your music professionally mixed by Christian Cummings. His work has received airplay on many major radio and television stations including MTV and VH1. Christian has been crafting affordable major label quality mixes for over a decade and is passionate about his clients music.
RATES
We’ve developed 3 “Project Tiers” to accommodate for all tastes, budget ranges and goals:
- PROJECT TIER 1 involves an SSL 4000 with a huge range of outboard gear options. These mixes can be attended and a runner is provided. Travel, catering and accommodation can also be arranged.
- PROJECT TIER 2 focuses on a smaller hybrid mix system that features analog summing and analog outboard.
- PROJECT TIER 3 encompasses a mix room built around a Pro Tools HD rig with some select outboard compressors and EQs.

Since every project and budget is different, we first need you to fill out the mixing questionnaire at the bottom of this page so that we can tailor a personalized quote for you. Regardless of if you’re a major label artist who requires catering and transportation or if you play your acoustic on the sidewalk for cash, we have a solution for you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How can the artist remain involved in the mix process?
A: Easily! After each session a reference mix of the day’s work will be uploaded to our server for the artist to hear. It’s then the artist’s job to email or call in notes, concepts and changes that might need to be made. Christian will often ask you questions about what other mixes you like and what your goals are before the process begins. If you’re somewhat local we encourage attended sessions. Keep in mind that all of Christian’s work is guaranteed, so he’s not going to be happy with it until you are.
Q: How much time does Christian spend on each mix?
A: The answer to this question is very song dependent. Christian takes pride in his mixes, and it’s in our best interest for it to sound the best it can. Suffice it to say we’re not running a “cookie-cutter” mixing operation, so each song gets the individual attention it needs. A general answer can be given if you fill out the mixing questionnaire.
Q: Does Christian take on every project?
A: No. Christian tends to remain relatively busy and will only work on projects he feels he can really help or benefit. The love of music is our primary driving force. If he doesn’t think he can help elevate the track or aid the artist, he’s probably not going to do it, as it doesn’t really benefit anyone.
Q: What gear is used?
A: Check out our list of available gear. The specific gear used is dependent on the Project Tier Level as well as any special needs the song might have.
Q: How do I submit my tracks? What are my “deliverables”?
A: Most people choose to mail DVDs of their sessions. Shipping a hard drive copy of your record is common as well. For smaller projects we can show you how to upload your sessions to our server. If your song isn’t already in the Pro Tools format, we’ll direct you accordingly. We also suggest you read “How To Prepare A Song For Mixing” in the Techniques and Tutorials section.
