Typically I don’t talk up artists too often, but out of sheer respect for good songwriting I have to mention that one of my favorite artists, David Bazan (Pedro The Lion, Headphones) has released a new live DVD. I had the opportunity to catch David at The Casbah here in San Diego a few months back, and I’m happy to report that his live performance is beyond spectacular.

Great artist, great songwriter.
