About Christian Cummings

“A musician from a very young age, Christian Cummings began performing live at age 15 in Hollywood. As he grew as an artist so did his goals and skills. By his early 20s Christian was a veteran touring musician, having shared the stage with everyone from the Foo Fighters to Snoop Dogg. After graduating college from San Diego State, Christian joined friend and colleague Bryan Stratman at Capricorn Studios in San Diego to hone his skills as a recordist.

Several years later, Christian has been the recipient of many San Diego Music Awards as well as a nod from the Grammys for a metal record he did a ways back. Although a good amount of his time is spent at Signature Sound in San Diego, he continues to be active writing and producing records for up and coming artists all over the world.

As a musician in 2007 Christian toured as the drummer for Ken Andrews, performing much of Ken’s catalogue including classics from Failure, ON, and Year Of The Rabbit. After the demise of his past band Tailgunner, Christian sill continues to be active on stage with some of his current projects.

In his extra time Christian is now instructing courses in music business and studio production at The Art Institute of California, San Diego. He is also an active member of ASCAP and The Recording Academy.
